Newbie to GMKIN..Hello :-)

stories-single-blob

Hello all, a complete newbie to GMKIN and this blogging malarkey, be kind…

I’m not really sure how to start this, so here goes…

When you’re asked, ‘How are you?’ or ‘All ok with you?’. It’s easier to answer ‘Alls ok’ or ‘Not too bad’ and not say how rubbish you feel things really are. Why would anyone be interested or really want to know?

At the beginning of last year, I was told I needed to have a kidney transplant. It was a huge head messer for both Lee (my husband) and myself. I didn’t want to share this info with anyone, but I have done so with many people now.

I have an amazing husband, Lee, who has gone through many tests, and from day one, he has always wanted to be my live donor. This is now our reality..he was a suitable match!

Don’t know when this will happen..how long is a piece of string? One thing for sure is it will have to happen.

So that’s my little introduction so far…

I’ve recently started dialysis, but I’ll keep my babbling about that for another post in the future :-)
